About Me

Amy is a certified and insured yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. She completed her intensive teacher training with YogaWorks and is a student of yoga therapy, yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, energy work and holistic nutrition.

Amy has practiced yoga for over 10 years, studying Hatha, Ashtanga and Kundalini disciplines from world-renowned yogis like Shiva Rea, Saul David Raye, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Max Strom, Paul Da Silva, Matthew Cohen and Ashley Turner.

As a member of the fire arts community, Amy blends her lifelong study of dance, daily yoga practice, and the powerful element of fire into live art.

Dancing with poi, hand candles, fire fingers and fire fans, Amy builds upon her artful expression with every opportunity.

Amy is one link to evolving circles of artists, musicians and performers. She dances with spontaneous energy cultivated through groovy music and good vibes at gatherings, celebrations, festivals and events.

Amy has performed for over three years with live bands such as Hamsa Lila, Nova Blue, and Otis; onstage at the M-Bar in Hollywood; for private parties to her favorite dance tunes; with her goddess fire sisters Katy Leigh and Sirena Sirpentina; and at countless drum circles and jam sessions.

Amy is also a successful public relations executive, currently using her talents in the consumer sector. With extensive television experience, Amy developed programming for a start-up cable network, produced a reality television show and short film, and assisted the executive producer of a feature film.
